Postcards From Holland: Sharing

Last night I asked Romania what he was bringing for sharing. He always wants to bring Legos, but I don't want the pieces lost and his teacher probably is not thrilled when kids bring things like that. He asked if he could bring Holland to share.

"Those aren't glubs, those are miffins."

"There's frosting on the ground!" she was referring to frost she saw on the grass

-"Let's sing the 'Danger, Danger' song. (Away in a Manger)

- "That's not a bus, that's a bus!" reasoning to her brother on a car ride.

-her: "I want to sweep."
me: "You want to sweep?"
her: "NO! I want to sweeep!"
Finally it dawned on me she can't pronounce her L's

"I can't see my eyes"
-she says this when I turn off all the lights in her room at bedtime

"Is the purple grandma coming over?"
-not really sure why she calls my mom the purple grandma

"This is Tomato-Head"
-can you figure this one out?

"Carry me. My legs hurt."
-said any time she doesn't want to walk. Usually in the middle of grocery shopping or Target

"Mom. That's not a leaf. That's a lily pad."
-correcting mom when looking at a tub toy

"I can't wear underwear because I have a booger in my nose."
-explaining why she doesn't want to be potty trained

"McDonald's had a farm. Yi-oh. McDonald's had a farm. Yi-oh." (sung in the car upon seeing McDonald's)
